Kverneland introduces a high-end centre-swathe rake with a robust design prepared for operating in rough, demanding terrain. It offers up to 8.0m adjustable working width and compact dimensions during transport. The Kverneland 9580 C offers 8.0m working width and 12-tine arms on each rotor. Working width can be hydraulically adjusted between 7m and 8m, leaving a swath width between 1.2m and 2.2m.

The 9580 C offers industry leading gearbox and mainframe design. The Kverneland 9580C has been engineered with a stronger mainframe design with material thickness having been upgraded 20% compared with the previous model. The ProLine oilbath gearbox is fitted with 8 fixed and four detachable tine arms and provides extremely reliable raking performance.

New design optimised for transport

The Kverneland 9580 C masters both extensive working width and compact transport measures. The new design of the wheel axles allows adding generous 380/55 wheels as standard and still offers a transport width as narrow as 2.75m, making it the perfect match for narrow roads and tight gateways. Transport height is below 4m, even with all tine arms fitted in place.

Comfort and control

The Kverneland 9580 C includes comfort features such as hydraulic adjustment and setting of working/swath width, folding for transport width below 4m without leaving the tractor cab and actively steered axles supporting tight turns on headlands and during transport. The TerraLink Quattro system allows the rotor arms to flex and carefully follow ground contours, leaving an even and clean swath behind.

New 7.6m tedder

The Kverneland 8576 is a 7.6m tedder designed to perform perfectly in all crop conditions, with a minimum of non-productive maintenance required and with diminished transport dimensions.

The 8576 is a 7.6m, six-rotor tedder fitted with seven tine arms per rotor. Featuring a heavy-duty fully closed headstock, this machine will fit perfectly into the operation of professional farmers looking for a strong, effective and versatile tedder.

Productivity at the core

A key feature of the Kverneland 8576 is its ease of use. The complete machine, except PTO to tractor, is 100% maintenance-free.

“Durability and efficient maintenance have been key factors during the development of Kverneland 8576,” said product manager of Hay Tools at Kverneland Group Sebastian Hagemann. “The implementation of maintenance-free driveline and gearboxes, allows the farmer to focus on the essentials and maximise productivity. No time is wasted on time-consuming greasing.”

Additionally, the hinges are connected with strong, maintenance-free roller bearings for extended longevity and stability of the connection points.

Also, adding to both durability and design is the implementation of aluminium rail guards, which are low in weight, but still extremely resistant. Also, they help reduce vibrations on the machine dramatically, leading to less stress and minimised wear.

Compact transport dimensions

Furthermore, Kverneland 8576 offers compact folding, with a parking height of just 3.45m, due to the implementation of the HexaLink fingerclutch system in the joints of the two outer rotors.

The remaining rotors are driven by maintenance-free double universal joints, for strong and efficient transfer of power.

High-quality tedding

The tine arm design, with flat steel tine arms, ensures that high loads can be transferred without any bending of the arms, leading to perfect tedding of even the heaviest crop. Additionally, the strong vibration dampers provide stable and accurate running characteristics, leading to an even spreading pattern across the complete 7.6m working width. All standard settings, like rotor and tine angle adjustment and setting for border tedding are easily done.
