The Anti Roll Clamp fits down over the ewe's shoulders preventing her turning over on her back.
The anti-roll clamp prevents ewes from going on their back. The ewe pictured here had been going on her back and lost one eye due to attack from birds.
Galway-based company, Cormac Sheep Equipment, has launched a new product called the anti-roll clamp.
The clamp fits over the ribcage of the animal and prevents ewes from going over on their backs. It can be adjusted to fit different size ewes and the company says it is especially useful this spring, given ewes are in better condition. It retails at €19.
