Every week across Ireland, there seems to be a great variation of property sold, however this week seemed a higher level. Nothing overly spectacular was seen this week, barring a pair of great performances in Tipperary. A lot of small parcels sold, with a number of poorer quality land also cracking under the hammer.

One or two properties were withdrawn, with a 10 acre parcel in Roscommon pulled from auction before it even began.

In Monaghan, a circa 30 acres was sold for €45,000 less than its guide.

Limerick seen an unusual mix of fortunes this week. A mixed quality 34 acre parcel at Caherconlish went for just €3,000/acre, well below the counties average, whilst just 10km up the road, a 42 acre holding went for €9,500/acre (€402,000) exceeding its guide by €144,000.

Staying in Limerick, 58 acres in Bruff was withdrawn at €300,000 having received no bids from the floor.

Two properties in Leinster were withdrawn from auction with both sold after. The first, a 5.5 acre parcel was bought by a dairy farmer. The second was a 20 acre residential bought by an American.

This week also seen a number of receivership sales around the country.
