After the extended winter and cold, wet spring, there appears to be an uptake in weather conditions. According to the weather forecast for this week's Irish Farmers Journal, after small amounts of rain of Friday, there appears to be a full dry week on the horizon, with temperatures up also.

An improvement in conditions would allow farmers to allow land to soak, get stock out and finally get slurry and fertiliser spread.
