Ballyjamesduff Co-op held a machinery clearance auction on their premises on Saturday last on the behalf of two recently deceased farmers. Around 600 various machinery and smaller agricultural lots went under the hammer.

Trade was lively and strong at the auction with a clearance rate of 84%. Out of the total 600 items, 501 sold on the day. A range of different machinery was up for grabs, with certain items fetching nearly €9,000.

The next machinery auction is due to take place on Saturday 21 Septmeber.

One bidder at the auction managed to pick up this PZ Haybob for €600.

This tablesaw on three-point linkage sold for €900 at the auction.

One vintage enthusiast purchased this rare vinatge Massey Ferguson 168 model for €3,300.

One person bought this tipping trailer ideal for transporting farm supplies for €600.

This land leveller sold for €700 on the day of the auction.

The hammer fell at €3,200 for this trailer at the auction.
