Weather forecast

Tuesday is forecast to be dry in many areas, with the best of the sunshine in the east of the country. It will be cloudier in the west and southwest, with some patchy rain and drizzle.

The rain will turn heavy and persistent in the southwest by evening time. Highest temperatures will range between 19°C and 23°C or 24°C, while winds will be mostly light and southerly in direction.

On Tuesday night, heavy rain is forecast to spread eastwards across the country.
