Met Éireann is forecasting it to be bright with a good deal of sunshine, but scattered showers also. The showers will mainly affect southern and western coastal counties in the morning, but they will tend to spread elsewhere during the afternoon and evening.
Some of the showers could again be heavy with hail and a risk of thunder. Light to moderate variable breezes generally, but fresh and gusty westerlies will affect southern coasts. Top temperatures 6°C to 8°C.
