In the news today: CETA approval by the EU Parliament, a ninth case of bird flu has been detected and Taoiseach Enda Kenny has announced he will seek EU funding for Irish businesses hit by Brexit.
Thursday will see a dry start with sunny spells. It will stay dry over Munster and much of Leinster during the day with just a little patchy rain possible.
However, it will cloud up over Connacht and Ulster with some outbreaks of rain developing, persistent in a few areas but generally light.
