It will be dry and bright today, according to Met Éireann. Early mist or fog will lift quickly, but a few patches may well linger for a time, in some coastal areas, especially the southeast. It will be rather cloudy in places at first, but cloud will break allowing good sunny spells to develop. It will be warm by early afternoon, with top temperatures of 19°C to 23°C and best in the western half of the country. Winds will be moderate southeasterly, but fresh at times along the southwest and west coasts.
