Kerry has announced an increased milk price for suppliers in August.
Suppliers in the Republic of Ireland will receive a base milk price of 29.5c/l excluding VAT for milk supplied last month at base milk solids. In effect, it's a 0.5c/litre lift on July milk price.
A spokesperson for Kerry said: “Based on average August milk solids, the price return to farmers is 33.26 ex-VAT but including bonuses, 35.06c/l including VAT and bonuses."
