From November, the newly formed partnership between Lemken and Sulky will see Sulky’s range of fertiliser spreaders branded as Lemken machines. Distribution of the rebranded machines is due to begin just in time for Agritechnica.
Both companies forecast gains from the arrangement, with Lemken being able to extend its large product portfolio and Sulky able to make better use of its production facilities. As it stands, Lemken employs in excess of 1,600 staff with a turnover of €380m for 2018. Sulky employs 250 staff across the entirety of the business, with its manufacturing facilities and headquarters based in France.
The range of models include the Spica, Tauri and Polaris series, offering tank volumes from 900l to 4,000l. A broad range of control options will be available, from basic control up to fully Isobus-compatible machines.
