DEAR SIR: The Gaelic Woodland Project is a team of volunteers in Ireland and North America who are working on a unique project, a gift for the Irish at home and abroad.

The Gaelic Woodland Project is raising money through the international Irish community to purchase land in Westmeath for afforestation.

The money raised will be used to buy land to plant a commemorative woodland in the heart of Ireland, dedicated to her scattered generations.

Our operation has been growing steadily and we’re ready for the nation to know about our mission.

One-hundred per cent of all donations will be used to buy land for afforestation and our entire team works voluntarily

Irish Central (a US publication) is writing an article on our project and we are being covered in the Irish Wildlife Trust’s autumn edition of the Irish Wildlife Magazine.

The success of our operation will be commensurate to our reach and thus we request a mention in your publication.

The purpose of publication is to invite people to join in the project. One-hundred per cent of all donations will be used to buy land for afforestation and our entire team works voluntarily.

The woodland will have a spiralled trail leading to a standing stone at its centre, among wildflowers. It will display the green Ireland imagined but rarely experienced. In the future, this project will embody this generation’s foresight and consideration. I hope you can be a part of this message.
