DEAR SIR: Regarding the Quality Milk Awards, it is great to see the 38-cow dairy herd in Galway being nominated. Thankfully, small dairy herds still exist in an industry that seems to be promoting large herds.

Also, it is good to see a number of successful dairy herds under 100 cows being nominated.
