The notice of the appointment of the liquidator was filed on 11 January this year, after a creditors’ meeting was called – the firm KPMG is handling the liquidation.

Investigation by the Irish Farmers Journal showed that the auction house had been operating at a loss for a number of years and it’s estimated that it owes Bord na Móna in the region of €500,000.
The company was known for hosting large machinery sales and also hosted the Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) auction on 30 September 2017, where over 250 lots went under the hammer.
