Amazone has introduced a new Cenio 5000-2 mounted stubble cultivator for tractor over and above 220hp.

The new hydraulic folding model expands the existing 3m, 3.5m and 4m range.

With three rows of legs, the Cenio 5000-2 can be used with a range of different shares at working depths from 5cm to 30cm, suiting both shallow cultivations as well as deep soil loosening. Tine spacing is 30cm, allowing for good trash flow where large volumes of crop residues are present.

For the C-Mix 3 tine system, there is a 320mm wide goose foot share and the 360mm wide C-Mix wing share available for shallow stubble cultivation. The 100mm or 80mm wide C-Mix share can be used for basic soil cultivation and the 40mm wide C-Mix share for deep loosening.

The Cenio 5000-2 is available in two versions: Special, with shear bolt overload protection, and Super, with compression spring overload protection, offering a trigger force of 500kg.

As standard, the working depth of the tines is set hydraulically set from the tractor cab, helped by a visible scale.

In response, the LevelControl system automatically adjust the working depth of the levelling. The levelling element, comprises a row of finely serrated 410mm discs.

Finishing the process, there are six different – but each easily interchangeable – packer rollers available for soil reconsolidation. A single-row harrow can also be added behind the packer.
