Anner Agri is importing a new big fertiliser bag handler and opener for the Irish market and will have it on display at Grass & Muck 2018.
Loading and emptying fertiliser bags into fertiliser spreaders is a slow and dangerous job carried out on almost every farm. The ABC big bag cutter is designed to carry either two or four half-tonne bags of seed or fertiliser and to cut the bags open automatically over the spreader or drill by means of two retractable knives.
This implement allows the loader driver to load and empty the bags without leaving the cab, avoiding the risk of the operator being trapped under a bag.
Having seen the implement working, it appears to have other advantages, such as allowing the driver of the loader to stay out of the dust from the bag and also remove the requirement of the operator to get in and out of the machine to open the bags, which will improve safety as well as the output of the man and machine.
The ABC bag cutter is available in either two- or four-bag models, with brackets to suit any loader.
The whole operation of the implement is fed using one double-acting valve and the whole process is sequenced so that the knives retract once the bag has emptied, so the next bag slide into position.
Looking at the design of the ABC big bag cutter, it is built to last and would definitely be a good addition to any farmer or contractor using a lot of bagged fertiliser both in terms of safety and output.
Anner Agri will also have the full weaving range, including the GD direct drills, tine drills and cultivators.
The mounted GD drill is an affordable, flexible and manoeuvrable zero-till drilling system for all farm sizes. This drill has a closed hydraulic circuit that provides individual coulter pressure, which helps to maintain consistent ground contact across undulations with an accurate sowing depth.
The latest hedgecutter from Agrimastter will also be on show, the R600. This will be the first time this machine will be shown in southern Ireland. The R600 has fully proportional oil over oil joystick control, oil cooler, electric rotor engagement, rotor reverse, parallel arm, head float and main arm float, power slew with break back, storage legs, 200-litre oil tank with 58hp, T flails, lights, three-belt drive and 1.5m head.
