Bednar has expanded its range of seeding solutions with the launch of its new Soniq ON 3000, one-pass power harrow seed drill combination. The new offering from the Czech manufacturer combines the Kator KN power harrow, Seed Box SB seed hopper and a new developed seed drill.
The pressurised, single-chamber seed hopper is available in two sizes: 1,000l and 1,600l. The coulter bar is equipped with Bednar’s PSP2 (Precise Seed Placement) double-disc coulters, each mounted on a parallelogram system spaced at 12.5cm or 15cm apart, each of which can apply 60kg of downwards pressure.
The PSP2 coulter is based on the PSP coulter which has been used with the Omega, Efecta and Matador drills now for years. The benefit of the new PSP2 unit is that it is lighter and applies less pressure.

The pneumatic seeding unit uses an Isobus controlled metering unit and is driven via the tractors load sensing hydraulics.
Half section shut off is optionally available which is done via a second seed distribution head. The coulter bar can be raised by 7cm to allow further soil preparation without seeding.
