Equipment
At Grass & Muck 2018, it will have a selection of its equipment on display, including the 32-row Agriseeder.
There are some new additions to this machine, including galvanised frame, Kverneland metering, Punter hydraulic fan, all stainless steel hopper and a plastic meshed platform that facilitates carrying bags of seed This machine can sow clover, grass, cover crops and cereals.
Metering is done using the tried and tested Kverneland metering unit and a mechanical drive link ground wheel provides a very robust and simple unit. Stainless steel and plastic hopper assemblies are available.
A simple area clock on the metering unit shows the area sown. The single disk on the Agriseeder works at a pronounced angle, reducing pressure on the seed coulter, thereby enabling a good finish.
The slot effectively opens up to form a small band and the flexing of the soil produces tilth to provide a better environment for the young seedlings to establish and flourish.
Erth will also show its latest galvanised version of the Panbuster.
