Previously, the added power concept from Fendt, known as Dynamic Performance (DP), was only available for the top model 728 Vario. With the latest raft of updates, it has been expanded to all models in the series. The four models – 720, 722, 724 and 726 – now range in power from 203 to 263hp. The DP added power concept offers an additional 20hp when required.

Gen 6 vs Gen 7.1

Fendt says the new 724 Vario Gen7.1 offers better performance in central areas over the 724 Vario Gen6. With 233 Nm, it has 235 better acceleration, is quieter and consumes less fuel than its predecessor. In addition, Fendt says the turning radius has been reduced by one meter to 10.50m with four-wheel drive engaged, compared to the 11.50m without four-wheel drive in the predecessor.

60km/h top speed

The Fendt 724 Gen7.1 model is now approved to 60 km/h for the first time. Fendt notes that standard tractors spend around 50% of operating hours on the road or in transport. Fendt has been focusing on transport for some time now, which is noticeable with features from the 700 Vario Gen7, including the Fendt iD low-speed concept, additional braking safety via a newly developedhydraulic auxiliary brake, the Trailer Brake Assistant (TBA) and the automatic parking brake. In the 724 Vario Gen7.1 60km/h versions, Fendt says its Stability Control significantly reduces rolling motions and rounds out the package. Correctly adjusted, fully integrated tyre pressure regulation system reduces fuel consumption on the road.

The 700 Vario Gen7.1 has a payload of up to 6.2t and a permissible overall weight of 15t. Optional daytime running lights increase visibility.

The Fendt 700 Vario Gen7.1 with DP models can be ordered as of Autumn 2025.

DLG test

The German Agricultural Society (DLG) carried out an independent PowerMix test on the 724 Vario Gen7.1 on 14 test cycles. In the field, the 724 Vario was 9% below the consumption of its predecessor, the 724 Vario Gen6. At a speed of 40km/h, the 724 Vario Gen7.1 was 17% below the consumption of the 724 Vario Gen6. During transport work at a speed of 50 km/h, the 724 Vario Gen7.1 was also 17% below the value of its predecessor. The 700 Gen7.1 can be ordered from autumn 2025.

Another new feature is the integration of Apple CarPlay into the Fendt infotainment via cable or Bluetooth. Already known from the automotive sector, operation is carried out via the terminal on the armrest. The software will be rolled out June 2026.
