Kverneland Group Ireland will put on a strong display at Grass 2026 across a number of demonstration categories as well as on its stand within the adjacent trade village.

Taking part in the mowing category is the Kverneland 5387 MT rear butterfly mower combination paired with a 3332FT front mower. Together, the combination offers an 8.75m working width. The rear combination features the unique QuattroLink “race car” suspension for the best possible ground-following characteristics.

Later in the tedder category, Kverneland Group Ireland will demonstrate the 85156C trailed tedder. The high-output offering is equipped with 14 rotors and is capable of tedding 15.6m in one single pass.

Its TerraFlow ground-following system allows each rotor to adapt independently to ground contours, ensuring even spreading.

All that is required to operate the Kverneland 85156C is a single-acting spool for raising and lowering the tedder and a double-acting spool for folding.

Raking duties will be handled by the Kverneland 9472 twin-rotor central delivery rake. With a working width ranging from 6.2m to 7.2m, each 2.95m rotor features 11 tine arms. The 9472 rake is actively steered and uses the three-dimensional TerraLink Quattro system to allow the best possible ground following.

Baling will be demonstrated by the Kverneland FastBale, the market’s only non-stop baler-wrapper combination designed to maintain continuous operation without interruption.

Its ability to wrap and form bales simultaneously has been proven in real-world conditions, including a world record of 1,587 wrapped bales produced within 24 hours.

The FastBale features a 2.2m five-tine bar pickup reel which features a cam track at either end. Behind this sits the Hardox tined rotor and 25-knife chopping unit. Making maintenance easy, the knife bank pulls out to one side of the machine.

The FastBale comes with the Tellus Pro touchscreen screen. The animated display shows the real-time status of both the pre- and main-baling chambers and the wrapper.

The 14-rotor Kverneland 85156C trailed tedder will be working live.

The Kverneland 9472 twin-rotor central delivery rake has a maximum working width of 7.2m.

How it works

The FastBale features two bale chambers. One is a full-sized main chamber and the other is known as a pre-chamber which is about two-thirds of the size of the main chamber.

The baling process starts the same as any other baler, with the main chamber producing the first bale. Once the bale is fully formed, instead of having to stop to apply the net, it diverts the crop flow to the pre-chamber.

This in turn allows the net to be applied to the bale in the main chamber, before being ejected onto the wrapper. When the pre-chamber is full, the incoming crop flow and the pre-compressed crop are then transferred into the main bale chamber. Here the bale is formed to its final size and density.

Alongside the live working demonstrations, Kverneland will also have a strong static display featuring the Kverneland 2832 3.18m (10ft 5in) mounted mower, the Kverneland 8590 eight-rotor, 9m tedder, the Kverneland 85134C 12-rotor trailed 13.4m tedder, and the Kverneland 6500F fixed chamber round baler.

Kverneland has also recently launched new finance packages, including 0% finance available on 100% of the VAT-inclusive selling price across the full grassland range.

The Kverneland 5387 MT rear butterfly mower combination and 3332FT front mower offers a total working width of 8.75m.
