He-Va, the Danish farm machinery manufacturer, showcased its new G-Drill, direct grass drill. Designed for both the establishment of new grass seed and the renovation of existing pasture, He-Va says the G-Drill is also suitable for sowing cereals and other crops. It is available to start in a single 3m working width only. The machine can come in 24 row (125mm spacing) or 32 row (94mm spacing) versions.
Standard specification includes 400mm angled discs with a floating disc coulter mounting and following roller for accurate seed depth.
He-Va explains that it features a weight transfer system from the tractor to seed drill, for precise coulter pressure and seed depth. It can be fitted with a 450/500mm prism roller, or a 410mm plain flat roller. The drill can be equipped with a range of He-Va’s own precision seeders.
