Amazone has introduced a new AI-based fertiliser recognition system called EasyMatch which establishes spreader settings by analysing a photo of the chosen fertiliser.
At Amazone’s Agritechnica preview event, the company unveiled a clever new free feature that has been added to the MySpreader app. The new EasyMatch feature is a recognition system that identifies the fertiliser sample based on a photograph, even in situations where the blend type is not known.
Users simply need to photograph the product in the hopper and using the reference template.
Through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and information from Amazone’s own database, the system will analyse 250 physical parameters including granule size, shape and structure to establish the correct spreader settings.

Even in situations where there is no phone signal, the system will still search from within its offline database. EasyMatch was awarded an Agritechnica silver innovation award.
