Case IH showcased its new Puma series tractor in Germany this week. Featuring an entirely new design, the reimagined Puma series is available in 155, 165 or 185hp models. It features an advanced CVXDrive transmission, with Case IH noting that the Puma offers improved load handling, traction and working speeds, to use power more economically.

It says running costs are lowered due to increased service intervals, now at 750hr. The tractor’s gross vehicle weight has increased by 18% to 13,500kg and a max payload of 5,500kg.

The tractor’s new front axle suspension offers a turning radius of 11.4m, while the manufacturer says it offers increased stability at the top speed of 50km/h. It added that the new Puma features enhanced braking responsiveness and an updated linkage and hitch.
