Massey Ferguson has expanded transmission offerings for its 5S tractors, which is now available with the option of a CVT to complement its existing Dyna-4 and Dyna-6 offerings.
All five 5S models in either Efficient or Exclusive trims can be specified with the Dyna-VT single-range unit, offering stepless speed adjustment from 0.1km/h to 40km/h.
Speed control is by the foot accelerator pedal, the hand throttle lever or the Power Control lever, and the maximum 40km/h can be achieved at 1,550rpm. Those wanting to opt for the basic Essential trim will have only the choice of the Dyna-4 and Dyna-6 transmissions.
