Following last year’s updates to the Fendt Ideal combine range, which included a new CyclonePlus cleaning system, further modifications are set to be introduced for 2027 models.

These changes include increased cleaning capacity and a greater separation area, that Fendt claims will reduce the overall total cost of ownership for Irish and UK farmers.

The increased separation areas have been achieved by removing all blanking plates from the Helix processor on Ideal 8 and 9 models and replacing them with finger separation grates.

This change allows an extra 27% more separation area on the Ideal 8 and 12% on the Ideal 9.

The service life of key components, such as the wear plates in the feed area have been upgraded from stainless steel to Hardox

All four Fendt Ideal models now share the same rotor configuration.

A Hi-Wear package for the feed area and feed drum is also a new addition.

The service life of key components, such as the wear plates in the feed area have been upgraded from stainless steel to Hardox, while the front wear plate and bolt guard are also now made from Hardox.

For markets harvesting maize or soya beans, Fendt recommends the expanded Hi-Wear option, which adds a stainless-steel base plate for the crop elevator and hard-chromed augers throughout the machine.

The new system uses self-locking nylon nuts and bolts to provide a more stable fix that withstands greater torque

New models come with a new wear plate mounting system on the front rotor scrapers. The new system uses self-locking nylon nuts and bolts to provide a more stable fix that withstands greater torque.

Another notable upgrade is the new straw and chaff spreader kit. The new system uses two hydraulic centrifugal discs with adjustable spread width.

Finally, a new standard radiator for the MotionShift transmission improves oil cooling performance, maintaining optimum temperatures during long road journeys and on steep gradients.

“The CyclonePlus cleaning system combined with the durability improvements for MY27, mean the Fendt IDEAL range is now a more capable and cost-effective machine for UK and Irish harvest conditions,” said Fendt’s Ed Dennett.
