Sure to draw attention at next week’s event will be McHale’s latest Fusion 4 range. This will mark the new range’s second major Irish show appearance since its launch at last year’s National Ploughing Championships. Accompanying the Fusion 4 as one of the company’s more recent innovations will be the non-conditioner Pro Glide mower range.
Fusion 4
The Fusion 4 delivers a number of new features, with the Pro and Plus models now Isobus-compatible. Updates include a new Profi-Flo pickup, which has been designed to increase crop intake and crop flow.
Behind the two feed augers is a tapered feed channel designed to encourage the crop to flow from the pickup, towards the rotor and into the bale chamber.

The Fusion Pro and Plus models are now Isobus-compatible.
The new adaptive intake feature allows the intake area to automatically adjust to changes in material flow.
The pickup is now also fitted with a heavier drive line to reduce chain load. The rotor size has been slightly increased, as has the torque on the rotor. Other more notable updates include increased bale density, faster wrapping speeds and more modern body styling, just to mention a few.
Pro Glide R310
Following a direct request from the market, McHale has developed a new range of non-conditioner mower. Named the Pro Glide R310, it is fitted with a 3m cutter bar to provide a cutting width of 3.1m using a seven-disc bed.

The McHale Pro Glide R310 utilises proven technology from the firm’s conditioner mower range.
