Kelly’s of Borris will be showing the new Grange GLL 3m soil aerator at this year’s FTMTA Farm Machinery Show.
The unit has six tines set at 0.5m spacings that can work to a depth of 300mm.
The machine comes with a hydraulic reset system to cope with stoney conditions.
The tines are fitted with Tungsten-tipped wearing tips and the lower leg sections come prepared with hard-wearing materials. Each of the six tines have cutting discs in front to cut a slot in grassland aeration applications. The machine’s working depth is controlled by the rear-toothed packer.
The machine is claimed to be suitable for any soil or farming application from grassland to tillage and with a seeding unit mount on the frame, it can be used for sowing oilseed rape.
New Grange toolbar
The Grange display at the Kelly’s of Borris stand will also include a four-metre-wide close-coupled toolbar machine. This unit comes with eight low disturbance loosing tines, each spaced at 0.5 metres.
Again, each of the tines are tungsten-tipped, with hard-facing materials and have a hydraulic reset system. The toolbar comes with eight discs to cut through trash to stop the legs dragging through cover crop and surface vegetation.

A selection of Dal-bo equipment will be on show, including the latest Power Chain harrow.
The Grange toolbar comes with four double-acting hydraulic couplings so that a seed drill can be plugged into the hydraulic pipes in the toolbar and, in turn, the toolbar’s pipes plug into the tractor.
The system has a free flow return hydraulic pipe and a seven-pin light plug fitting. The Grange toolbar can also be fitted with a PTO drive to allow it to mount and power through to a powered cultivator.
Kelly’s will also display a number of machines from its Horsch, Dal-bo, Agrispread and Pronar product ranges.
