The Co Cavan trailer specialists, M-Tec Engineering will return to the Ploughing Championships once again to display its ever-growing trailer range and latest innovations.
Having perfected its livestock trailer range a number of years back, the Swanlinbar-based business has since worked on expanding the range. This led to last year’s launch of flat-bed trailer models which are available in tandem and tri-axle configurations from 10ft to 16ft.

The new M-Tec wind deflector kit will launch at the Ploughing.
New for this year’s event and available as a bolt-on to its livestock trailer range, is the Wind Deflector kit. Doing just as the name suggests, the Wind Deflector kit is practical addition designed to improve towing efficiency and fuel consumption.
Also new for this year’s event, taking place in Tullamore, is the M-Tec Extendable Roof Canopy Trailer. This new feature builds on the existing canopy range and is designed to improve the convenience of loading and unloading livestock.

The new extendable roof canopy trailer expands on the existing canopy range.
The roof can be easily lifted via a latch system, allowing users to access the trailer without crouching.
M-Tec has said that it will also display its easy-to-use sheep decks and the 7ft-high livestock trailer alongside a selection of models from each of its trailer ranges.
Also expected to sit centre stage and attract plenty of attention, will be the highest spec trailer built by the firm to date.
