Live from 7pm, Clogher Valley Livestock Producers Mart will hold its first ever Christmas fatstock show and sale.

With over 100 entries for the show and sale, including 50 haltered animals entered for the pre-sale show, it promises to be a night filled with top quality stock on show.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only exhibitors are going to be able to enter the showing arena, so the Irish Farmers Journal broadcast will allow people to view the show as it happens.

Phenomenal response

Yard manager at Clogher Robert Simpson is the brainchild behind the event. He has a passion for showing cattle and fatstock, so he knows how to run a good show.

Speaking to the Irish Farmers Journal, he said: “We’ve got a phenomenal response from local farmers and fatstock producers. We have also had a lot of enquiries from customers, butchers and processors about the animals coming on the night.
