The Co Monaghan-based slurry equipment manufacturer, Martin Equipment is bound for Grass 2026, with a broad selection of slurry spreading solutions.

On its stand Martin will display a 2,000 gallon slurry tanker fitted with a 7.5m dribble bar, a PTO compressor and a 12m twin-macerator umbilical dribble bar.

Following numerous enquiries to manufacture a range of tankers to complement its Low Emission Slurry Spreading (LESS) applicators, Martin has done exactly that.

Now manufacturing slurry tankers just over 12 months, in excess of 20 units have been built and sold, the largest being a 4,000 gallon tandem axle unit which was sold to the UK.

All tankers are built using 6mm steel which is fully seam-welded inside and out and support by internal reinforcing baffles. Meanwhile, the arches and chassis are made from 10mm steel.

A 12m twin-macerator umbilical dribble bar is set to be on show.

All components are sourced from premium suppliers including Battioni vacuum pumps, Distag axles, RIV gate valves etc.

The tanker set for Kilkenny next week is equipped with 800 tyres, a 11,000l vacuum pump and is fitted with a 7m flexi dribble bar.

Another new product introduced last year and set to be on show is the Martin Equipment PTO air compressor. This machine is available in either 300cfm or 400cfm outputs and features an Italian sourced compressor unit, built on an in-house galvanised chassis.

Martin launched its new rear discharge dung spreader at the Spring Farm Machinery Show in Cavan this year.

More recently Martin has further expanded its range, with the launch of its rear-discharge dung spreader range. On display at the Cavan Spring Farm Machinery show was a 10t model which could be further increased to 12t when fitted with greedy boards.

At the time, Martin expressed plans to complement the range with a 6t and 8t model. Features include a single floor chain and either manually or electric floor speed control.
