Interim nitrogen and phosphorus statements now available

The Department has made the statements available on agfood.ie.

Farmers can access interim nitrogen and phosphorus (N&P) statements for the period January to June 2019.

The Department of Agriculture said the statements would be particularly useful to allow farmers plan for the remainder of the year.

Compliance

To ensure compliance with the nitrates regulations and to avoid penalties, farmers must not breach the limit of 170kg N/ha or 250kg N/ha for those who hold an approved derogation.

The Department has made the statements available on agfood.ie.
