A nine-year-old Holstein Friesian cow, Dalevalley OTI J Lulu, was crowned the Diageo Baileys Irish champion at the Virginia Show. The cow is owned by Eugene Murphy and his son Sean, both from Waterfall, Co Cork. The cow is no stranger to the show ring, having previously won the competition in 2011 and receiving the rosette for reserve champion in 2012.
