A large contingent of buyers from around Europe made their way across the Irish Sea to the McEnroe family's Liss and Lisduff Centenary weekend which coincided with a sale of 50 females and 10 bulls from the two herds.
The sale took the format of a live video auction, with buyers getting the opportunity to view the cattle on the morning of the sale, one of the first of its kind in Ireland.
It certainly played a pivotal role in enticing foreign buyers, with cattle selling to Switzerland, Germany, Romania, Portugal, UK, Italy and Austria.
Auctioneer Denis Barrett was kept on his toes, as overseas customers provided some real competition for Irish buyers, resulting in a full clearance and an average sale price of €6,240.

Hitting €9,200 was two-year-old bull Lisduff Dollar Y065. A son of Liss Minter S950 and going back to a long line of Lisduff females, he was also snapped up by an overseas buyer.
McClafferty Angus in Co Donegal purchased the rising two-year-old Liss Ducky Z288 at €8,800. A daughter of Texas Iceman, this classy in-calf heifer offered a replacement index of €150.
One of the first heifers through the ring, Liss Bilban Z272 found a new home with Foxhill Livestock in the UK at €8,200. In-calf to Lisduff Bang Bang V742, she packed a tremendous set of figures, including a terminal index of €125.
