Weatherbys Scientific has announced its expansion into the US market in a significant partnership with one of the country’s most influential breed organisations.
Through a new agreement with the American Hereford Association (AHA), Weatherbys Scientific will become AHA’s exclusive DNA testing partner, bringing more than 30 years of expertise in animal genomics to
the market.
“This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in our mission to bring world-class, reliable, and cost-effective DNA testing solutions to US beef producers,” said Romy Morrin O’Donnell, international sales director at Weatherbys Scientific.

The aim of the partnership is to bring rapid turnaround times and seamless data integration between laboratory and AHA systems.
Headquartered in Ireland, Weatherbys Scientific has served breeders across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and further afield with pioneering DNA services.
This expansion brings the company’s advanced genotyping technologies and customer-led approach to one of the most progressive livestock associations in the US.
