The NFU Scotland deputy director of Policy, Andrew Bauer, has announced that he is leaving the union in order to take up a senior position with SAC consulting. Bauer covers the area of environment and land use in the union.
He is scheduled to leave in six to seven weeks’ time and Farmers Journal Scotland understands that the union will seek to find a replacement before then.
