Scotland’s Rural College and AHDB Cereals and Oilseeds are holding winter agronomy roadshows across four locations in Scotland in January. The free annual workshops give cereal and oilseed growers the chance to hear from specialist speakers who will offer guidance on varieties, markets, soil health, cover crops, pollinators and diseases.
The workshops will include panel discussions with farmers, agronomists and scientists from SRUC and the James Hutton Institute.
Speakers include Professor Fiona Burnett, head of SRUC soil research; Dr Steve Hoad, head of Agronomy with SRUC and Julian Bell from SAC Consulting.
