Earlier this year, Castleagri acquired the sole agency for the Scottish-manufactured Murray Handling Equipment. The company is set to showcase a selection of this equipment, in addition to the latest from swivel slurry spout manufacturer Moscha, at the Ploughing.

Versatile

The versatile bale handler capable of handling four round bales (4x4) at a time will be on display. The handler is capable of loading, unloading and stacking bales of any shape or size. The curved tine effect helps to improve safety while handling bales.

The Irish company will also be displaying the new Murray-manufactured Road Grader. This machine is designed for ripping up uneven gravel farm roadways, in particular on dairy farms, and leaving them with a camber either to the middle or to either side, altering the water flow.

Castleagri will be presenting a new Moscha 24m trio spreader which can be retrofit on to a typical slurry tanker

The company is not forgetting the troublesome snowfall earlier this year and will be exhibiting a 10ft Murray snow blade, with the ability to shift snow either to the left or the right of the tractor.

After the period of recent drought, many vegetable farmers were forced to turn their focus to irrigation.

Castleagri will be presenting a new Moscha 24m trio spreader which can be retrofit on to a typical slurry tanker. This implement will be suitable for vegetable growers where a typical irrigation system isn’t suited due to issues such as location or the scale of the plot.

The firm will also be exhibiting a full range of Moscha swivel spout spreaders including single spreaders for tankers, umbilical systems and the fold-up duo spreader suited for applying slurry on 24m tramlines.
