New chair elected at Sligo IFA AGM

Wexford IFA and Sligo IFA held their county executive annual general meetings (AGMs) on Thursday night.

Sligo IFA has elected the eighth woman to national council, Kathleen Henry.

Meanwhile, IFA president Joe Healy was in Enniscorthy on Thursday night for the Wexford county executive AGM.

The Wexford AGM re-elected James Kehoe unopposed. The position of vice-chair was contested by Ned Lyng and Tom Doyle. The hotly contested position was won by Ned Lyng.
