First officially presented at Agritechnica in 2019, the New Holland T6.180 Methane tractor is now set to make its Irish debut at the FTMTA Show which will be sure to attract the attention of many.

The T6.180 Methane features all the benefits and spec of its diesel counterpart at a running cost of up to 30% less.

The main differences are that it is fitted with a 6.7l NEF six-cylinder gas fuelled engine and 10 gas storage tanks including a front linkage-mounted tank, bringing its on-board gas capacity to 453l (79kg).

Latest generation

Keeping with tractor developments, the latest generation of large-frame T7 tractors with the all new Horizon Ultra cab will be on display, particularly the T7.315HD.

The T7.315 HD with the all-new Horizon cab will make its Irish debut at the show.

While exterior changes remain subtle, the cab is where the majority of updates have occurred in terms of control layout with the adaption of the new Sidewinder armrest from the T8 Gensis tractors.

Aside from 7.5% more space storage and other functionality has also been improved. The dash is gone and has been replaced by the CentreView steering wheel mounted display.

Electronic architecture has also been improved aiding the use of telematics.

A W series loader will all be exhibited at the show.

New Holland will also exhibit a variety of other machinery and implements from its ranges, including a W series wheeled loader, CX7.80 combine and the SDM compact disc cultivator.
