A Dine Al Desko breakfast event was hosted in the Irish Farm Centre in aid of Gorta-Self Help Africa last Friday. Supported by the Irish Farmers Journal, the IFA and FBD, staff from all three organisations had breakfast together for the Irish development charity that is dedicated to ending hunger and poverty in rural Africa. The charity places a particular focus on helping African women who produce up to 80% of the food on small-scale farms.
