Good morning. In the news today: controlling docks with insects, comment on ABP and Linden making case for Slaney joint venture and difficult trading for plainer types at Balla.
Rather cloudy today with outbreaks of rain and mist or fog on south coasts. The rain will be heavy and persistent in parts of the west this morning. Later today the rain will turn more persistent in the east and it will become drier and brighter in the west. Southerly winds will be fresh to strong in the eastern half this morning, but winds will moderate everywhere during the afternoon and will become mostly light and variable by evening. Maximum temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees, highest in the east.
Outbreaks of rain continuing in the east tonight, but staying mainly dry in the west with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in light west to northwest winds.
