Simon Harris has been announced to open Tullamore Show on Sunday.
The Tanaiste will stand in for Taoiseach Micheal Martin, who has had to cancel his commitment to attend the major agricultural show.
The official opening of the show will take place at 12pm in the bandstand in between some country music performances.

The 250ac showgrounds will host the FBD National Livestock Show with 750 trade stands on site and a sustainable livestock village powered by hydrogen.
The premier livestock show includes €25,000 worth of prizes over 45 dairy classes, as well as a variety of classes for Angus, Shorthorns and Hereford cattle.
