Seven farm gates which were stolen in four separate incidents have been recovered by gardaí in Sligo.
The thefts occurred on forestry and farmland between 28 March and 11 April in Achonry and Tubbercurry, a Garda spokesperson told the Irish Farmers Journal.
Planned searches were carried out in the Achonry area which resulted in the gates being recovered and the suspects have been identified.
The stolen property has been returned to the owners.

“A file is being prepared in connection with this matter for the Director of Public Prosecutions,” the spokesperson said.
Property marking
Sligo gardaí reminded farmers and the public that the gardaí and Sligo County Council can now assist in property marking.
“Anything than can be stolen should be marked with identifiable marks where possible,” it was advised.
