UK – apps deliver for lamb

The AHDB reports that lamb takeaway sales ordered on apps have increased by 36.7% year on year, outpacing growth across the wider takeaway and delivery sector.

The USDA has reduced its forecast for this year’s maize crop yield by 0.14 tonne per hectare to 11.35 tonnes per hectare.

The USDA forecasts that Japan’s chicken meat imports will increase marginally in 2026 to 1.160m tonnes, up from 1.122m tonnes last year.
