With Teagasc, Agri-Aware, FBD and many more trumpeting the success of their respective show gardens at Bloom, I was curious to see which of the contestants did not make the cut for an award at Bord Bia’s annual gardening fest.
After a deep trawl of the winners’ list, I can safely say: no one. Between the gold, silver-gilt, silver and bronze medals, the best in category (small, medium, large, concept) and the people’s choice, there was a prize for everyone in the audience. I’m thinking of entering the cabbage patch next year.
