The death has taken place of Denis Murphy, Kilbarry Lissarda, Co Cork, after a short illness. Denis was an accomplished debater and public speaker and stalwart member of Macra Na Feirme and the IFA. Denis also worked as an officer of Muskerry Macra and Mid Cork IFA Regions.
Denis was an extensive dairy farmer and had a lifelong passion for farming generally. He was well known in dairy farming circles.
Denis will be sadly missed by many, but especially his wife Margaret and family.
