In total, 1,573,840 calves were registered online – the highest ever figure.
The trend shows the increasing technical nature of farming, with many farmers turning away from the traditional paper and post method.

There was also a significant 80,683 jump in the number of online registrations from 2017 to 2018.
The previous year recorded just a 22,683 increase in online calf registrations.
In total, 2,339,461 calves were registered in 2018.
