The new Pöttinger Novacat A10 cross flow butterfly mower attracted a lot of attention at the show.

These are the first mowers manufactured by the company capable of mowing and immediately merging swaths without the use of a conditioner, making them suitable for the use of mowing wholecrop, etc.

Without the conditioner, it will mean the mower is lighter and requires less power to drive it, thus burning less fuel.

The system has no conditioner or belts. Instead, the new cross flow conveyor auger merges the forage to form one swath after mowing.

The closed design helps to prevent forage losses.

The cross conveyor augers are mounted directly on the mower units and are driven by the tractor’s own hydraulics.
