The Dealer was accosted by a group of farmers over the weekend, demanding to know details of possible increased satellite inspections revealed in last week’s paper.

Explaining that satellites could pass over all farms in Ireland at least once a week, one farmer piped up to say he hoped the satellites were religious.

“Even a satellite will need a day off from all that extra work on a Sunday,” the farmer winked.

The Dealer can also confirm that the satellites are not infra-red and thus cannot see into sheds.
