The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued a recall notice for some 3kg ham fillets after "incorrect" cooking instructions were found displayed on the labels.

The hams affected are being recalled from Lidl stores by Callan Bacon Ltd.

The products had incorrect incorrect boiling instructions detailed on the label.

Lidl’s Smoked 100% Irish Ham Fillet and Unsmoked 100% Irish Ham Fillet, both with a pack size of 3kg, have been recalled.

The labels of affected products display the approval number IE 528 EC, while the barcodes of these products are numbered 4056489711575 and 4056489711568.
